Sy Helderman and Company began in 1986. It was an offshoot from his previous experience with Automatic Data Processing and Xerox where he worked in management positions for over twenty years.  Based on developing technology, Sy realized that a public accounting firm would be in a unique position to provide services with the recognized benefits of the personal computer. Sy met with entrepreneurs and developed a program that would provide managerial reports to small businesses and hence the new firm was launched in Morristown, NJ in March of 1986.

Over the past 24 years the formula has been to take an active role in compliance requirements and to keep clients up to date on filing requirements. This has given us a good reputation for caring about our clients over the past 24 years.
